About Ty Tones
Hello and welcome to my website :)
My name is Tyler Bernard, and I appreciate your time in experiencing my artistry. As a proud Colorado native, born and raised in Denver, I hold a deep admiration for the stunning blue skies and the majestic Rocky Mountains that make this state exceptional.
Born on May 9, 1995, in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, I was raised by hardworking parents who instilled strong values in me. Growing up in Lakewood, I embraced the outdoors, spending countless hours with my younger sister and friends. From an early age, I dove into sports and began my journey in Taekwondo, a decision that shaped my character and led to me earning my second-degree black belt.
By middle school, I was excelling in three sports while maintaining my academic responsibilities, embedding a relentless work ethic within me. At the age of 14, I made a pivotal choice to step away from Taekwondo. I recognized it was time to focus on my social life and explore other sports, including football and basketball, where I could thrive in new environments.
High school at Bear Creek was a defining chapter in my life. I was surrounded by ambitious peers who sharpened my competitive spirit. I played varsity basketball and actively participated in various clubs, all while discovering my true passion for music. These experiences forged my identity and propelled me forward in life.
MUSIC IS MY ESCAPE FROM EVERYDAY LIFE.
From a young age, I embraced my passion for music. I spent countless hours in Lakewood near Red Rocks Amphitheater, jamming out with friends and using music as a powerful remedy for stress. I also ventured into experimenting with mind-altering substances during that time. While I don’t promote drug use, it shaped my experiences and played a role in my evolution.
Growing up near such an iconic venue was a tremendous advantage. I attended numerous concerts, forging strong friendships within the dynamic Denver music scene. This community was a vital source of support, creating an incredible environment that I cherish deeply. I've seen over 200 concerts at Red Rocks since 2014, making music a central part of my life. Music therapy is real, and it has honed my ear for various genres, particularly Hip Hop, EDM, and Jam.
When COVID struck in 2020, I committed fully to making music, and it became one of my most significant life choices. I may not claim to be the best lyricist or singer, but my connection to the music I create is profound and undeniable. The self-expression and healing I’ve gained through this journey are invaluable.
Now, I’m ready to share my story and inspire others. My mission with music is to promote healing and connection. WE ARE ALL HERE AS ONE.
I LOVE YOU ALL VERY MUCH, AND THANK YOU FOR BEING YOU. NOBODY ELSE CAN BE YOU.
